Geidea POS works on many devices and models. You are sure to find what you need for your business and specific needs. 

Below, you will find a breakdown of hardware types.

 

Android Phones/Tablets

You can use Geidea applications on all android devices. This means that waiters can take orders on their phones, and it will reflect automatically on the system. Additionally, portable devices can be used in stock management and calculating wastage.

Portable POS device

Portable POS devices are a portable android terminal similar to a smartphone. In addition to taking orders, the device accepts payments and is equipped with a receipt printer to print receipts. This device can be used by cashiers, waiters and delivery riders

Small POS terminals

Small POS terminals are counter POS terminals that are self-contained. They have a screen for the cashier to make orders, as well as a screen for customers to see the total and pay. The device has a built-in printer for the receipt as well. The main advantage of these devices is their small size and ability to fit in right area.

Large POS terminal

Large POS terminals are counter POS with a large screen for the cashier, and an optional medium screen for the customer to view the total.There can be an optional built-in printer as well. These devices are a perfect fit for business with enough space and wish to provide customers with a big display.

Hand-held bar-code reader

The Hand-held bar-code reader allows the cashier to scan the barcode of items. It seamlessly integrates with the POS counter terminals.It is a perfect addition for businesses that sell retail items

Cash Drawer

Cash Drawers act as a place where you securely store money. They seamlessly integrate with the POS counter terminals. They can be configured to only open during payments.

Printers

Printers print receipts. You can install multiple printers in your business locations (up to 10). There is usually one by default at the chair to hand receipts to customers. Other printers can be added for the kitchen and the bar, etc. Keep in mind that each printer can be customized to print unique receipts. For example, kitchen printers do not need to have customers’ details or prices. Alternatively, the receipt handled by the cashier does not need to contain food recipes and ingredients.

KDS

KDS stands for “Kitchen Display Screen”. Allows your kitchen employees to view orders, filter them and update the status of each item. Additionally, more options can be enabled to accept and reject orders, show or hide recipes.
