In Geidea POS, items are always grouped through categories. This holds true for Menu Items and Inventory Items. That said, to add an inventory item there needs to be at least one Category.
Examples of categories: vegetables, fruits, and dairy products.
Adding New Inventory Category
- Under Inventory, click Categories.
- You will get the following screen:
- Click Add,
- Enter the category name.
- Click Save.
Viewing Items of Inventory Category
To view a list of items that belong to a category:
- Click the number next to the desired category.
- The list of inventory items will open with the Category automatically selected as filter.
